<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Control systems and procedures to ensure the quality, safety, and consistency of detergents and chemical products in compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Lead, supervise, and develop the Quality Control team and laboratory personnel, ensuring effective performance, technical competency, and adherence to quality procedures and safety requirements.</li><li>Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process batches, and finished products, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Manage and monitor chemical and physical laboratory testing, including relevant parameters such as pH, viscosity, density, active matter, concentration, appearance, color, and other product-specific specifications.</li><li>Ensure proper batch sampling, analysis, approval, and release, while maintaining accurate laboratory records and traceability throughout the production process.</li><li>Analyze quality data, identify recurring defects and process deviations, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to minimize quality issues and improve product consistency.</li><li>Work closely with Production, R&D, Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to investigate quality deviations, optimize processes, and support the development and scale-up of new detergent and chemical products.</li><li>Establish and monitor quality control plans, inspection standards, testing methods, and acceptance criteria for raw materials, production processes, and finished products.</li><li>Conduct and support internal quality audits and coordinate external/customer audits to ensure continued compliance with applicable quality standards and company requirements.</li><li>Establish and monitor Quality KPIs, including rejection rates, batch deviations, customer complaints, rework, non-conformities, and laboratory performance, and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management.</li><li>Lead the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and product quality issues, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up with relevant departments.</li><li>Ensure the proper control, calibration, maintenance, and availability of laboratory equipment and testing instruments, maintaining accurate calibration and testing records.</li><li>Maintain and continuously improve quality documentation, including specifications, test methods, SOPs, inspection records, laboratory procedures, and quality reports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with chemical handling, laboratory safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements applicable to the manufacturing and testing of detergents and chemical products.</li><li>Drive a culture of continuous improvement, quality awareness, and defect prevention across the manufacturing operation.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.</li><li>7+ years of experience in Quality Control within the detergents, chemicals, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of chemical and physical testing methods for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.</li><li>Hands-on experience with testing parameters such as pH, viscosity, density, active matter, concentration, appearance, and color.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Quality Control systems, SOPs, specifications, inspection plans, and batch release procedures.</li><li>Experience in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Non-Conformity Management, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Good understanding of ISO 9001 and relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Experience in internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits.</li><li>Strong knowledge of laboratory management, equipment calibration, and laboratory safety.</li><li>Good understanding of detergent and chemical manufacturing processes, formulations, and raw material specifications.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and reporting skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP/QMS systems is preferred.</li><li>Good command of English, especially technical English.</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and coordinate with Production, R&D, Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse teams.</li></ul>
