<strong>Hiring: Electrical Planner | Oil & Gas / Petrochemical</strong><br> <strong>Location:</strong> Ras Laffan / Doha HQ, Qatar (Onshore)<br> <strong>Contract Duration:</strong> Initial 2 Years (Potential Extension)<br> <strong>Work Schedule:</strong> 8–10 Hours per Day, Sunday to Thursday<br> <strong>Rotation:</strong> 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (Single Status)<br> <br><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br> We are looking for an experienced <strong>Electrical Planner</strong> to provide maintenance planning services to the Asset Maintenance Team, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for maintenance activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the reliability and operational performance of onshore facilities through efficient maintenance planning and execution.<br> <br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Ensure maintenance planning activities align with company KPIs and operational objectives.</li><li>Develop detailed scopes of work and process work orders for electrical maintenance activities.</li><li>Plan and allocate required resources including manpower, materials, tools, equipment, contracts, procurement, and logistics support.</li><li>Review new maintenance notifications daily and support realistic TFUC (Time Frame Under Consideration) and LACD (Latest Acceptable Completion Date) requirements.</li><li>Identify duplicate work orders and support amendment and cancellation processes where required.</li><li>Verify all associated costs are captured in work orders before management approval.</li><li>Raise MDG requests for missing or incorrect SAP Bill of Materials (BOM) data.</li><li>Prepare Material Return to Stock (MRS) documentation for surplus and unused materials.</li><li>Ensure maintenance plans comply with company standards and procedures.</li><li>Facilitate monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) reviews and prepare PM plans 12 weeks ahead of schedule.</li><li>Maintain and update SAP PM task lists for routine and repetitive maintenance activities.</li><li>Support Work Order close-out activities and Technical Completion (TECO) processes.</li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong><br> ✔ Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.<br> ✔ Minimum <strong>7 years of maintenance planning/scheduling experience</strong> within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.<br> ✔ Minimum <strong>3 years of experience in a dedicated Planning and/or Scheduling role</strong>.<br> ✔ Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with <strong>SAP PM</strong>.<br> ✔ Experience in maintenance work management, preventive maintenance planning, and resource coordination.<br> ✔ Proficient in written and spoken English.<br> ✔ Strong computer literacy and familiarity with industry-standard maintenance management systems.<br>With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
