A chemical engineer responsible for developing and improving product formulations, supervising production operations to ensure efficiency and quality, applying safety and quality standards, and solving technical problems related to products. Responsibilities and main duties Develop formulations · Develop new product formulations (air fresheners, detergents, disinfectants). · Improve existing formulations to reduce cost and enhance performance. · Conduct stability tests (viscosity, odor, phase separation) and troubleshoot. Supervise production · Daily supervision of production processes (mixing, reaction, filling). · Prepare and monitor chemical mixtures according to specified recipes. · Monitor variables (temperature, mixing time, speed) to ensure homogeneity. · Supervise workers and technicians in the production department. Quality control · Perform quality checks to ensure product meets specifications. · Inspect physical properties (viscosity, density, color, pH). · Coordinate with the quality department for sampling and analysis.
