Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
 Assisted the Rig Manager/Tool Pusher in order to plan, organize and monitor the implementation of Safety management systems and programs for company operations for effective management and response to emergencies, preventing and / or minimizing harm to people, environment, assets and company reputation. The programs include ensuring compliance to legislations and managing contractors and third parties that work for and on behalf of the company.
 Compliance of IMS Policy, Company HSE guidelines and MSPs and regulatory requirements.
 Development & implementation of HSE management system to ensure that the system is in place to support smooth and safe operational activities.
 Development & implementation of short term & long term HSE Plans for operational activities in line with COTs & DOTs, provide support to rigs management in line with company’s HSE policies for the development of HSE culture within the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
 Support and provide proper guidance to the field management on HSE matters related to E & P activities and conduct necessary HSE audits and inspections to ensure proper implementation of HSE guidelines and procedures. Ensure closure of audit/inspection findings.

 Initiate update and review of Manuals related to HSE as deemed necessary in coordination with other parties. Participate in the development of the rig Facilities plan and provide details of HSE Equipment and related studies in relation to Health, Fire, Safety and Environmental protection following the industry standards and guidelines. Execute special HSE studies requested by other departments aimed to improve HSE practices and HSE performance.

 Fully participate in the review of all HSE critical activities related to E & P Life cycle modifications with particular emphasis on using the proper HSE review techniques such as HAZOPs etc when considering the introduction of new equipment, new processes or changes in existing processes. Organize emergency drills with different scenarios and identify improvement in the system.

Carryout regular follow-up of incident recommendations, sharing of lessons learnt among the employees.

 Impart basic HSE trainings to all the Rig Staff and organize HSE induction for new staff and identify hazards with mitigation measures in area of work.
