Required Mechanical Engineer - specialized in air conditioning and ventilation systems (HVAC)

Job Description:
A leading company in the field of air conditioning and ventilation needs a mechanical engineer to join its engineering team. The main responsibility will be working on air distribution system projects, including design and supervision of ductwork (Ducts), grills, and diffusers, with supervision of their implementation on sites.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Design and classify air ducts (Duct Sizing): prepare duct classification and design duct paths to ensure efficient air distribution according to engineering standards.
· Supervision of implementation: monitor duct, grills, diffusers, dampers installation, and ensure quality of execution and adherence to drawings.
· Thermal load calculations: perform thermal load calculations for projects to select appropriate equipment and calculate required air quantities (CFM).
· Technical coordination: coordinate with work teams, contractors and consultants to resolve technical problems on site and ensure workflow.
· Prepare technical offers: review project technical specifications and prepare offers and technical tables.
· Quantity surveying: prepare material quantities for required items (ducts, grills, dampers, etc.).

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· At least two years of experience in HVAC systems, focusing on duct and grills works.
· Good knowledge of standards and duct design and implementation systems (e.g., SMACNA).
· Proficient in engineering design software, especially AutoCAD, preferably knowledge of duct calculation programs like Duct Sizer or CAM duct.
· Ability to read and analyze technical drawings (Shop Drawings).
