Job Title: Social Media Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy:
  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's social media strategy.
  • Align social media efforts with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Content Creation:
  • Create, curate, and publish high-quality content (text, image, and video) for various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the graphic design and content team to ensure engaging visuals and copy.
  • Community Management:
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and monitor feedback across all platforms.
  • Foster online communities and brand loyalty.
  • Social Media Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, impressions, and conversions.
  • Use analytics tools to assess what’s working and optimize accordingly.
  • Advertising Campaigns:
  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).
  • Monitor budget and ad performance.
  • Trends & Innovations:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Innovate with new tools and platforms to enhance social media presence.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work with internal teams (marketing, PR, sales) to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Partner with influencers and other external collaborators for joint social campaigns.


Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Social Media Officer, Social Media Manager, or similar role. Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social). Strong copywriting skills and a good eye for visuals. Knowledge of social media KPIs and analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.). Understanding of social media algorithms and trends. Experience with paid advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Creative mindset with the ability to think out-of-the-box. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. Experience in a specific industry (e.g., eCommerce, Tech, Media) might be preferred by some companies.
