Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Qatar Industry: Fintech / Digital Payments
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage end-to-end operational activities within a fast-paced fintech and payments environment. The role focuses on ensuring smooth merchant onboarding, transaction processing, partner coordination, service quality, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong execution, coordination across teams, and continuous process improvement to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations related to merchant onboarding, activation, and lifecycle management Manage operational workflows across acquiring, settlements, reconciliation, and support functions Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and payment scheme rules Coordinate with banks, payment partners, PSPs, and third-party service providers Monitor SLAs, KPIs, operational performance, and service quality metrics Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Collaborate closely with product, risk, compliance, finance, and customer success teams Handle escalations related to operations, merchants, and partners Support operational readiness for new products, services, or market expansions Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and performance updates for management
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5+ years of experience in operations within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services Strong understanding of payment acquiring, merchant operations, settlements, and reconciliation Experience working with banks, card schemes, PSPs, and payment infrastructure providers Knowledge of compliance, risk, and operational controls in regulated environments Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and execution skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities English required; Arabic is an added advantage Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven, and evolving environment
