EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Essential: Taken and passed the Save the Children procurement essentials training 5 years good prior NGOs experience in Procurement systems, processes and supervision, within large scale country programmes and in emergency response/humanitarian environments  Experience in Procurement operations  Experience of implementing Procurement and sourcing strategies, and plans, and setting up Procurement operations to support multi sectoral programmes, and ensuring appropriate sourcing for the supply chain  Proven track-record in Procurement functions and supervising other junior supply chain staff, and providing training and capacity building  Ability to synthesis and Analyse complex information, and make clear, informed decisions/recommendations  Experience of supporting others at Junior levels with Procurement aspects of a programme, including demand and storage planning, support the development of Procurement staffing structures. Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people, both internally and externally  Knowledge of planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a workload comprised of diverse tasks and responsibilities  Good communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English with experience in supervising multicultural teams  Desirable   Formal management training
