Position: Medical Programme Manager
Type: Full Time (35 hours/week)
Location: Ramallah, West Bank
Salary: ILS 140,460 Yearly

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
MAP is seeking a Medical Programme Manager who will be responsible for designing and managing projects aligned with ourstrategy, identifying health needs, and collaborating with stakeholders like hospitals and local authorities. Responsibilities include overseeing medical capacity-building and emergency projects, ensuring compliance with financial procedures, and timely reporting.The role also involves supervising staff, building partnerships, designing proposals, and supporting fundraising efforts. Additionally, it ensures effective data collection, program evaluation, compliance with regulations, and risk management to safeguard beneficiaries, staff, and partners.
The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, and expertise in donor compliance. Desirable fields include Public Health, Health Management, and Development with advanced MS Office skills, they must hold a West Bank driver’s license, be willing to travel, and align with MAP’s values and safeguarding practices, and should be proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic is necessary.
