Job Title: LED Screen Operations Technician & Projection Mapping Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a capable LED Screen Operations Technician & Projection Mapping Operator to manage, configure, and operate LED screens and projection systems during events. The role involves setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting LED displays, with a strong focus on seamless integration with projection mapping. Familiarity with software such as Arena 7, vMix, and Watchout is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, configure, and manage LED screens to ensure top-notch display quality and effective integration with projection mapping systems.
- Set up, test, and maintain LED screens and AV equipment for events, including precise configuration to meet event needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live events to maintain uninterrupted service.
- Handle the loading, unloading, and preparation of LED screens and other AV equipment, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
- Perform structured cabling, configuration, and preventative maintenance tasks (PAT).
- Collaborate with the Operations team for efficient resource allocation and proper post-event equipment de-prep.
- Maintain professionalism, follow health and safety guidelines, and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Audio-Visual Technology, Media Arts, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in operating, configuring, and managing LED screens, with knowledge of projection mapping.
- Strong technical skills in AV equipment, including cabling, configuration, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with software like Arena 7, vMix, and Watchout is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and resolve issues quickly.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
