Job Description & Summary

The Operations Associate will work with the OGC Operations Director and wider OGC Operations team to deliver OGC projects, including transformation initiatives and implementation of innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency.

Financial

  • Adheres to the OGC budget, understands basic principles of firm finances and finds ways to improve financial best practice within OGC

Customers

  • Supports the ME OGC members and ME General Counsel (GC) on a wide range of operational matters

Internal Process

  • Supports transformation initiatives in the OGC, driving process improvement in collaboration with transformation leads within PwC
  • Identifies opportunities for automating legal processes and implementing tools to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborates with IT to ensure legal technology needs are met and align with overall company tech strategy
  • Supports with implementation of OGC projects by driving forward workstreams and project managing and monitoring efficient delivery
  • Identifies opportunities and actively utilizes GEN AI tools in improving OGC’s service to the business
  • Provides support for implementation and maintenance of legal technology platforms
  • Supports with developing and maintaining electronic filing systems to ensure legal documents are organized and accessible
  • Assists with the creation and maintenance of a repository of all contracts, ensuring they are up to date and easily accessible for the OGC team
  • Updates and maintains OGC Sharepoint Site
  • Identifies process improvements of OGC systems and processes
  • Supports on transformation projects ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, using the latest methodologies
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for operational excellence.

Education

  • A professional or academic qualification (degree level or equivalent), and relevant practical experience in areas including operations, project management, transformation, consulting and technology.

Language

  • Fluent English and Arabic

Overall Experience

  • Experience in digital transformation projects is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of implementing technology solutions is preferable
  • Experience of project management is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience of using GEN AI tools
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
