To prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner in order to maximize guest satisfaction consistent with established standards.

Key Result Activities:

Ensures that our guests receive prompt, friendly and personalized service.

Has a complete understanding of the operational philosophy of each of our restaurants and conveys the same to our customers.

Possesses sound knowledge of our products i.e. food and drinks.

Caters to the needs of our guests by suggestively selling our food and beverage items.

Accommodates our guests’ time restrictions through timely service and making double-check.

Notifies managers of specific guests’ needs and requests. Focus on upselling , specially for the daily dishes.

Key Result Activities:

Act as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served.

Optimizes the cost of sales by Following our standard recipes and by keeping track of waste and comps.

Key Result Activities:

Assist the management in maintaining standards by reporting any problems in the surroundings (i.e. cleanliness of the floors, tables, and service stations. Are all our guests happy?).

Maintains table standards by clearing all used plates, glassware etc.

and by bussing tables and spot sweeping, as needed.

Send soiled and collect clean linen from laundry before and after each meal period.

Keep bar and surrounding areas clean, free of debris and organized.

Clean and maintain all the equipment used in the workstation. 


Skills

➢ Greet guests politely, and with a smile at all times.

➢ Take initiative and responsibility for your assigned tables.

➢ Always be PROMPT, in following accordance with the respective SOP.

➢ Communicate any specific requirements to the “senior waiter” and/or manager.

➢ Have a superb knowledge of the concept, as well as all the food and beverage items we offer.

➢ Always be enthusiastic and energetic and speak clearly and loudly enough.

➢ “Read” and associate with individual guests, what they might like and be prepared to offer your assistance with choosing drinks and food etc. ➢ Be very attentive with the tables and always be willing to assist in any way possible.

➢ Table Maintenance: It’s your designated section and guests so ultimately, it’s your responsibility to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

➢ Help clear and serve any food and/or beverages on your tables and others’ if you have the time.

➢ Always ensures the standard of beverage and/or food served is of the highest as expected from the management and staff of Veranda

. ➢ Assist on the floor and help with anything to ensure the restaurant and service runs efficiently and smoothly.

➢ Takes ultimate responsibility in ensuring all correct MEP is ready on stations and set on tables when needed. (before food/beverage arrives)

➢ Communicates all and any complaints to senior waiter and manager on duty without fail.

➢ Checks and confirms correct food is sent to the appropriate table and guest.

➢ Always dressed neatly and correctly to be the best ambassador for the company in and outside the restaurant.

➢ Holds high level of personal hygiene.

➢ Check the bill and ensures everything has been put thru correctly before giving the bill to the guest.

➢ Processes the bill honestly and in accordance with the “GGG processing the bill” SOPS.
