  • Collaborate with the main contractor and consultant through “Pre-Survey Plan” to put the site surveying activities in advance. This includes identifying potential construction or finishing activities that may affect the surveying process and determining the most suitable timing for the survey.
  • Direct the execution and survey team to prepare a Survey & Site Verification Report and submit it to the technical department according to the method specified by the design team. Review and approve these reports. The report should be free of any site-related inquiries and should only be prepared after agreement with the main contractor and consultant team.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and project control team to prepare a preliminary site inspection report. This should be done through direct communication with the main contractor and should be accompanied by minutes of meeting signed by all parties involved (appointed project manager, client, and consultant). 
  • Discuss the contract's BOQ with the project manager and prepare a preliminary report on any differences between the schedule and the actual site quantities.
  • Review and update the BOQ based on the findings from the site survey. This includes incorporating any changes, additions, or revisions required to align the BOQ with the actual site conditions.
  • Coordinate with the main contractor to discuss the updated BOQ. This collaboration ensures that both parties are aligned and that any concerns or queries regarding the BOQ can be addressed promptly.
  • Coordinate with the consultant Quantity Surveying (QS) team responsible for the project. This collaboration enables the consultant QS team to provide their input and review the updated BOQ to ensure its accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • The updated BOQ should be shared with the main contractor and the consultant QS team for their review and approval. This step ensures that all stakeholders are in agreement with the updated BOQ and that it meets with actual site conditions.
  • Receive and working on official copy of the latest IFC drawings.
