This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of integration environments. The engineer plays a crucial role in managing the full lifecycle of integration applications, from deployment to maintenance, within cloud and hybrid systems. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support for IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, addressing complex issues and ensuring solutions meet operational requirements. System Optimization: Monitor and optimize Cloud Pak for Integration environments to ensure high performance and availability. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve advanced issues in collaboration with IT and development teams, leveraging deep technical expertise in Cloud Pak and related technologies. Deployment and Configuration: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and integration of Cloud Pak solutions, ensuring best practices are followed for scalable and secure deployments. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in system architecture, deployment strategies, and operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation and share knowledge with team members and clients to promote best practices in Cloud Pak management and troubleshooting. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus. Experience: Several years of experience in IT support, specifically with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration or similar middleware/integration platforms. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, API management, and enterprise messaging systems. Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles and tools. Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
