Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting MAP's protection programmes in Gaza by managing secure and efficient information systems for case management and referral tracking. Key responsibilities include designing data collection and monitoring tools, analysing and reporting protection-related data, creating visual materials, and ensuring data security in line with MAP policies. The role also provides technical guidance and capacity-building to programme teams, monitors data management risks, and contributes to timely and accurate information solutions.
We are looking for someone who is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, fluent in English and Arabic. They have experience with humanitarian organizations, data analysis, and tools like KOBO, Excel, SPSS, and Power BI. Proficient in secure data management and visualization, they can create impactful reports and infographics for diverse audiences. With knowledge of data encryption, cloud storage, and possibly GIS, they bring technical expertise and flexibility to engage effectively with stakeholders and support protection programming.
