JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics and Procurement Officer plays a critical role in supporting the organization's operations by overseeing procurement and logistics functions. This includes acquiring services and goods efficiently, ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines, and managing the supply chain effectively.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research:
Validation of Needs:
Procurement Operations & Processes:

Manage procurement plans and budgets in coordination with finance.

Coordinate purchase requisitions and prioritize them according to project needs.

Prepare tender documents and solicit quotations from suppliers.

Coordinate bid evaluation and selection processes.

Oversee the delivery of goods and services to project locations.
Supply Chain Management:

Coordinate the procurement and delivery of goods and services as per project needs.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and reduce costs.
Transportation Coordination:

Arrange transportation for goods and personnel as required.

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status.
Warehouse Management:

Oversee the management of project warehouses.

Ensure proper storage and handling of goods.

Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and logistics management.

Experience working on internationally funded projects is preferred.

Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
