The Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation – PYALARA is a youth-oriented organization that seeks to activate and empower young Palestinians both males and females between 13 and 25 years, and equipping them with the necessary skills and tools that would enable them to address their issues, needs and rights and, thus, contribute towards ending the occupation and creating stepping stones for democratic nation building. 

PYALARA is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time position of Senior Accountant:

Major Duties:

• Data entry accounting transactions into the BISAN accounting system and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Prepare and manage financial reports and statements
• Prepare the balance sheet and projects’ budgets.
• Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
• Ensure timely follow-up with the organization and projects auditing and prepare necessary audit documentation, and implementation of audit recommendations
• Ensure full support documentation for all transactions and in compliance with the institution’s and donor's policies and procedures.
• Prepare accurate financial reports to donors in accordance with the organization and donors’ policies and regulations.
• Prepare payroll sheet and related tax deductions.
• Prepare the necessary financial reports and updates to be submitted to Board of directors and the General Assembly
