To support the joint programmes under the Employment and Sustainable Access to Recourses (ESAR) Cluster, we are looking for a full-time position (100%)
“Financial Management and Administration Specialist”
Tasks and Functions include but are not limited to:
- Financial Management for Cash and Bank payments for ESAR Cluster programmes in accordance with GIZ Rules and processes.
- Involved in drawing up the annual internal controlling schedule and reports for ESAR.
- Function as focal point for Cluster Projects
- Asset Management
- Digital and physical archiving according to PuR
- Assure overall smooth administration and compliance with GIZ P+R.
- Expert Knowledge and application of GIZ Digital processes and tools
- Other tasks as required by management.
Required qualifications, competences, and experience.
BA in business administration with a focus on accounting or related area
At least 5 years’ professional experience in a comparable position
Excellent knowledge in accounting, preferably within GIZ
Knowledge of GIZ management systems, incl PuR, IDA, DMS etc.
Very good communication skills
Strong sense of responsibility, high result and service orientation and proven ability to cope with stress and uncertainty.
Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Fluency in English and Arabic, German language skills are an advantage.
Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management.
