Legal Consultant - Riyadh, KSA (Remotely)
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Consultant to provide comprehensive legal consultation and litigation services to our clients, foster client relationships, and monitor business opportunities. The ideal candidate will contribute to the firm’s strategic objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality legal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Consultation Services:
- Review and draft legal structures, contracts, and agreements.
- Prepare legal warnings, letters, and other legal documents.
- Assist with corporate governance and provide legal support to HR departments.
- Attending client board meetings and expressing legal opinions.
- Provide legal opinions during client negotiations.
- Establish and register companies, trademarks, and amendments with government entities.
- Deliver legal training and sound legal risk assessments.
- Litigation Consulting Services:
- Analyze disputes and define strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Draft statements of claims, manage litigation cases, and oversee court proceedings.
- Prepare legal documents for trials and review expert reports.
- Business Development:
- Track government tenders and identify potential clients.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, providing timely services.
- Present relevant services to clients and contribute to business growth.
- Government Tenders Management:
- Monitor and manage government tenders relevant to the firm’s business.
- Firm Development:
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic objectives and ensure alignment with goals.
- Support internal departments with legal expertise and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a leading Western university.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
- Corporate and Commercial background with a minimum of 10 years' PQE in major law firms or corporations (preferably multinational).
- Strong competency in drafting commercial contracts and litigation documents.
- High standards of ethics, integrity, and judgment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to start on short notice and relocate to Riyadh if necessary.
Preferred:
- University degree in law from a leading Western university (UK or US preferred).
- Knowledge of Islamic Sharia Laws.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian legal system.
