Responsibilities:

 

• Learn the ropes of IT support by shadowing experienced professionals and assisting with user inquiries and technical support needs.

 • Gain hands-on experience in resolving IT issues, utilizing best practices and our extensive knowledge base

 • Understand the process of diagnosing and fixing common technical issues related to hardware, software, network disruptions, and user accounts.

• Develop skills in providing technical support through phone, email, or chat, focusing on clear and effective communication.

• Document user interactions, problems, and solutions to contribute to our knowledge base.

• Learn to identify complex technical issues and observe the escalation process to senior IT professionals.

• Participate in training programs to build a solid foundation in the latest technologies and support techniques.

 

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in IT or any related field; recent graduates are welcome to apply.

A keen interest in computer hardware and software systems.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and apply new solutions.

 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an enthusiasm for positive user interactions.

• A customer service mindset, aiming for user satisfaction and efficient problem resolution.

• Basic familiarity with computers and a readiness to learn industry-standard IT tools.

• A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to the dynamic IT environment.

Technical skills

  • Programming Proficiency: Graduates should have a solid foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or others relevant to your courses.
  • Cloud Computing: Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding cloud services, infrastructure, and deployment is essential.
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and JavaScript, which are valuable for automation and web development, respectively.
  • Networking Basics: Basic understanding of networking concepts, including protocols, IP addressing, and network configurations.
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Awareness of cybersecurity principles and practices, including data security, encryption, and threat detection.

 Soft skills

  • English Proficiency: Strong English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for effective communication
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze and solve technical challenges, as well as guide students through problem-solving processes..

Working Hours: Full-time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Jordan time Monday to Friday
