Job Description
RMJM is seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager to support the continued growth of our Dubai Design Studio.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring they align with company goals
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies to ensure profitability and growth of operations
- Managing all commercial aspects of contracts, including negotiation, review, and implementation
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of activities
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Providing both pre and post-contract commercial support
- Reviewing interim valuations and payment certificates
- Managing changes and reviewing variations, preparing recommendations
- Preparing and reviewing estimates
- Assisting in risk and value management, cost control functions
- Developing responses to commercial risks
- Preparing progress and cost reports
- Understanding the MENA market
- Attending and representing at commercial meetings
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in a commercial management role
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts and agreements
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
