 GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
 Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and quality set by the management
 Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks
 Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
 Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
 Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available
 Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
 Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
 Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
 Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section
 Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
 Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
 Carry out any other duties as required by management
