Role Overview
This position is based in Jordan and is pivotal in supporting our sales and operations both in the UAE and Jordan.
Intro: An experienced Sales Engineer is required to efficiently handle inbound sales inquiries within our inside sales team, ensuring expert management and response.

Primary Responsibilities
- Inbound Inquiry Handling: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Customer Guidance: Assist customers in selecting products, focusing on both technical specifications and commercial benefits.
- Negotiation and Quotation: Lead negotiation discussions; prepare and dispatch quotations or Proforma Invoices.
- Sales Closure: Engage in follow-ups to close sales and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales logs and reports.
Supportive Responsibilities
- Customer Visits: Conduct on-site customer visits and generate necessary documentation (Invoices, DOs, PLs, COOs).
- Customer Service: Provide exemplary customer service and support ongoing business development activities.
Scope of Work
- Technical Discussions: Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to address their concerns, answer queries, and suggest suitable product configurations or customizations.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry developments to provide valuable insights to both sales and product teams.
- Pre-Sales Technical Support: Collaborate closely with sales teams, offering technical guidance during the pre-sales phase to help secure successful deals and meet sales targets.
Skills
Educational Background:
- Degree Required: University or Diploma degree, with a preference for majors in Engineering such as Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electro-mechanical.
Experience:
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years in front-line sales, including negotiating and closing deals.
- Industry Relevance: Must have experience in mechatronics or related fields.
- Experience Validation: Provision of experience certificates to validate sales experience is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Product Knowledge: Ability to rapidly understand and effectively communicate details about our products and services.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating technical and commercial quotations, pricing, and cost calculations.
- Communication: Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Research Capability: Excellent online research skills.
- Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM).
