The Testing Manager provides managerial direction and overall management support of the testing operations of Amideast/Egypt including Prometric Test Centers, Country Master Distributor, local registrations, and miscellaneous exams in accordance with Amideast’s mission and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Develop and monitor the implementation of internal policies and procedures for testing unit to maintain consistency among testing services in Egypt and to ensure high quality services
• Develop annual targets for organization business plan with testing team and ensure they are aligned with the Amideast mission and vision
• Oversee testing operations of testing unit staff including hiring, coaching, training, motivating, supporting, evaluating, guiding, and advising testing team members
• Support Amideast management in developing and maintaining high-level relations with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education, Central Admissions Offices for public and private universities, and Secretary General for the Supreme Council of Public and Private Universities and Admissions office to address issues related to testing and test integrity and position Amideast as the official channel of information for specific exams in Egypt
• Maintain operational systems for efficient administration of testing programs
• Work with the Ministry of Education, Central Admissions Office, continuously 
• Provide up to date statistics for all testing products that distinguish between numbers sold and numbers administered
• Monitor the creation of marketing ads done by testing unit to promote testing products through social media to raise awareness about Amideast testing services
• Periodically represent Amideast in major regional and international conferences and deliver presentations when requested
• Monitor test center operations organization and testing client standards, policies, and procedures are met and disseminated by Test Center Manager (TCM)
• Ensure that security at the Prometric Testing Center testing facility is met by following up with TCM to make sure proper training and coaching is provided to ensure that DVR audits and secret shoppers do not lead to a failure that would decrease the Test Center Scores
• Support and monitor meetings and training conducted by TCM to update TCAs about new policies and to ensure they are clear on client practices
• Maintain accurate targets for Egypt for each fiscal year by product and city and authorized distributors.
• Maintain accurate statistics for the various testing projects
• Review and approve training materials created for developing product knowledge to staff

• Support the recruitment of Authorized Distributors (ADs) through the sales team, assign targets, and ensure that the sales team are following up with the ADs regarding their progress
• Oversee training and development of Authorized Distributors (ADs) with proper staff to ensure they have the tools they need to promote products and meet their targets
• Follow up with Sales Department that sales reports are sent to ETS in a timely manner
• Review ADs agreements and other testing clients for renewal/termination
• Develop business through continuously increasing number of ADs in Egypt
• Ensure that on-site visits are done by proper staff to finalize operational logistics with the various institutes by ensuring they meet ETS requirements and take photos of rooms with actual capacity for record keeping
• Oversee the management of the miscellaneous exam administration processes and ensure test security and proper training of qualified testing personnel that adhere to client policies
• Ensure that staff follow up on income and ensure revenues collected in a timely manner for various miscellaneous exams
• Ensure that staff are keeping accurate statistics for various miscellaneous exams
• Oversee and review annual testing budgets with testing members
• Review and analyze financial dashboards and provide justification regarding profit and/or losses
• Approve pricing of various testing products to ensure increased revenues
• Announce new prices to Amideast staff & clients prior to start of new fiscal year
• Oversee testing project managers on monthly basis to analyze project financials, monitor expenses, revenues, and labor hours
• Monitor team’s timely input of monthly statistics for various testing programs to HQ according to set deadlines
• Consolidate financial reports for updating Assistant Country Director and Country Director regarding testing programs including monthly statistics
• Conduct internal unannounced audits to Test Center Administrators to ensure they are following check-in procedures and implementing client practices
• Strategize with CMD Coordinator and Sales & Marketing on CMD initiative, support project and work with sales to promote products to high-level and prospective clients
• Guide and monitor quality of training sessions and ensure that observers are following required exam policies and procedures and provide observations to Project Coordinator for improvement when needed
• Monitor and conduct intelligence about security related matters regarding exams on various social media platforms for proactive actions regarding breaching of tests
• Research customer issues and concerns, find creative solutions and respond where needed
• Collaborate with the various Amideast departments on requests as needed
