In this role you will be reporting to Digital Solutions Center Manager and will be responsible to support the business strategy by developing and managing a preferred supply base that enhances the competitiveness and success of our customers.Your responsibilitiesStudying customer requirement for RTU and SCADA based on the specs and conducted meetings, preparing the system architecture and bill of materials accordingly, programming and commissioning of RTU/SCADA and relay communication settings based on different communication protocolsPerforming all the activities related to assigned projects including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and automation drawings, identifying the best automation solution that meets the customer requirements, supporting in testing this solution and giving the after sales serviceImplementing latest technologies related to the product and being sure of following proper processes related to this activity, conducting technical studies and reviewing for orders in hand to be sure that all client specification is strictly followedHaving direct interaction with clients, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting the products, working in cooperation with engineering manager, project management and planning in order to evenly load the factory production line, controlling and having knowledge of the orders running in hand Clearing all the related difficulties and comments related to his assigned tasks to release the order for manufacturing, cautiously monitoring the departments key performance indicators such as FPY and OPQContinuously monitoring and analyzing, refining the criteria of measurements is also key parameter of performanceImproving customer experience, collecting and resolving the customer complains by ABB official tool which is CCRP, performing techno-commercial studies for selected offers, performing site visits with service experts to give his technical support in the automation field to either ABB service team or customerParticipating with the engineering team in the efforts to promote ABB ability solutions especially in the digital electrical solutions and performing all of the above tasks by applying ABB valuesYour backgroundBachelor’s Degree in electrical power, communication or control (5 years degree)Minimum 1-2 years of experience as automation engineer Good technical general knowledge, knowledge about ABB rules and regulations, ISO 9001 requirements, good knowledge of IEC and relevant standards is a mustProven experience in automation systems include SCADA ,RTUs, PLCs , communication networks, protection relays with related tools applications Fluency in English language is mandatoryBenefitsRetirement planMore about usABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
