Brandvenue is looking for Category Advisors on behalf of a new client in Hurghada Airport

Category Advisor – the role :

Working with the local key account manager, you are the eyes and ears of our client in Hurghada airport.

You will be working at airport shops, having the main task of informing and aiding customers in their choices within the tobacco product category.

Responsibilities :

Customer service

  • Approaching possible consumers in a responsible way, within regulation and in a pleasant way.
  • Help and inform the consumers ascertaining their needs, interacting with confidence and clarity.
  • Build and maintain contact with regular travelers.

Driving sales

  • Increasing product sales, with emphasis on the represented brand, as well as cross-category sales
  • Make sure that the products are available and attractively displayed in the shop
  • Support monthly sales targets set for the category, brands, etc.

Category support

  • Continuously ensure that products are not out-of-stock
  • Maintain agreed planogram for the brands

Communication

  • Maintain a strong and healthy relationship with the customer and other outlet staff
  • Ensure open and regular communication with key report contact of issues/highlights
  • Provide information about special and interesting customer behavior

Qualifications:

  • Professional and well maintained appearance
  • Strong selling skills - Speak French, English and local language on a professional level. German or russian is also a plus.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service is an advantage
  • Knowledge and passion for brands and their importance
  • High degree of self-initiative
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Customer service proactive attitude
