Reports to: Assistant Vice President of Campus Safety and Facilities Job Purpose: The On-Site University Medical Doctor is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to students at the AIU campus. This role aims to ensure the physical and mental well-being of the university community, contribute to a healthy campus environment, and offer support in times of medical need. Duties:

1. Conduct medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for students, staff, and faculty.
2. Conduct health screenings and provide preventive care services.
3. Respond to medical emergencies on campus, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
4. Develop and deliver health education programs, workshops, and initiatives to promote wellness and preventive healthcare.
5. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients.
6. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for record-keeping.
7. Participate in university committees or task forces related to health and safety.
8. Act as a resource and advisor to AIU’s students on health-related matters.

1. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
2. A valid state medical license and credentials to practice medicine.
3. Previous experience in primary care, emergency medicine, or campus health services is preferred.
4. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and with diverse populations.
7. Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and best practices.

1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
2. Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine).
3. Current state medical license and any necessary credentials.
