Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. MAP is seeking a Rehabilitation Point Coordinator who will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, coordinating referrals to relevant services, and ensuring effective follow-up. The role involves close collaboration with healthcare and logistics teams to address case needs, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reporting. Additionally, the role includes handling inter-sectoral referrals, both within the organization and to specialized actors, while upholding confidentiality and delivering timely support to meet the clients' needs.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, with experience in social work and healthcare case management. With knowledge of humanitarian principles, including Sphere and HAP Standards, and have expertise in supporting persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups. Familiar with relevant laws and confidentiality protocols, they are well-prepared to assist at-risk populations.
