We are engaged by our client, a leading shipping & logistics provider, they seek an experienced Kuwait-based Business Development Manager – BreakBulk / Project Cargo – to lead the ongoing expansion.
Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the BreakBulk / Project Cargo sector.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Create product awareness and arrange customer presentations and product demonstrations to improve sales opportunities.
- Handle quotations & all Commercial aspects of BreakBulk / Project Cargo opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote our services and brand.
- Collaborate with operational team members, coordinating with vendors and internal clients.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to senior management.
- Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that will increase company margins.
- Use the CRM system to create/manage activities, and business opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous 5+ years of experience in Breakbulk/Project Cargo business development.
- High level of ethics and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
