The Administrative Assistant 2 is part of a larger team to support missing individuals and their families, in accordance with set strategies and objectives at the regional level. S/he reports to the PFL Team leader and to the DAM PROT Data Manager (blue line).
S/he contributes to establishing and maintaining a trust-based relationship with the families of the Syria Missing, and at the same time contributes to support of the ICRC teams in Syria.
The Administrative Assistant 2 / KEY USER for Pre-case CRM provides support within the Protection department in complex secretarial and administrative tasks. S/he is the main person of contact (POC) for the product team in the HQ for all questions and issues related to product implementation and management.
In addition, s/he carries out PLF Officer duties such as communicating with the affected populations over the phone, conducting interviews, and registering new cases.
We are looking for a candidate with:
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree or equivalent in business administration, management information systems, data management, mathematics, or related field.
- Excellent command (spoken and written) of English and Arabic (Turkish, Kurdish, French an asset).
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, SQL or other programming language, CRM and Communication platforms experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of MS Dynamic
- Experience with querying fundamentals and data structures.
Minimum required Knowledge and experience
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience, experience with a humanitarian or not-for-profit organization is an asset;
- Confirmed experience managing databases and complex projects.
- Experience with the ICRC, the International Federation, or a National Society is a strong asset
- Ability to communicate about technical matters to audiences in training settings.
